So after my Blazer died, I took advantage of some of the great sale deals going on and managed to get a good deal on a 2009 Volkswagon Tiguan SE with 4Motion. It’s a pretty nice ride, not as big as the Blazer, but excellent road handling and a surprising powerful 4 cylinder turbo-charged engine. Some basic specs:
- 2009 VW Tiguan SE
- 4Motion AWD System with 6 Speed Tiptronic Transmission (Manual and Sport modes)
- 2 Liter Turbo Charged Direct Injected Engine
- Rated 200 HP / 207 Torque
Modifications so far:
- Revo Technik Stage 1 w/Select Plus
- RossTech VAG-COM w/Micro-CAN
- Slide Mod to the cup holder to stop the squeaking
Modifications Purchased, But need to be installed
- Alpine V-Power 350Wx1 Amplifier
- JBL GT Series GT100 10″ Subwoofer
Modifications I would still like to do:
- In Dash DVD/Navigation System
- In Dash Bluetooth Handsfree Kit
